SOS! In search of stash-busting projects for worsted weight acrylic yarn.

They say the first step to recovery is recognizing you have a problem. Well here I am, humbly asking for your help.

I’ve been knitting since I was 7 years old. Growing up, I bought worsted weight acrylic yarn because that’s what I could afford in those days. It’s mostly Red Heart and Caron. Fast-forward to today: I’m now 30 years old and have been expanding my repertoire (getting really into lace work and alpaca yarn now that I have grown-up money) but my stash has reached critical mass. It’s difficult to appreciate, but the basket is large and also filled mostly with acrylic yarn. And this is just my worsted weight yarn! I also have collections of both bulkier and lace weight yarns.

Please drop your favorite stash-busting worsted weight patterns here! I’m open to any difficulty pattern; my skill level is intermediate/advanced. Much appreciated in advance 🧶
