WWII British Romance Novel

Hi I'm looking for a romance novel I read ages ago. It starts off before the war. The heroine I think marries the son of a factory owner. If I remember correctly the have a child before the war starts then the husband goes off to war. I remember how in the book they would mention that the father-in-law's factory was producing different items for the war effort. I don't remember much more than that. Hopefully someone knows what book I'm thinking about.
