Newest update calendar events only Microsoft?

I think its a great idea to have events in the sidebar, but currently it appears it only allows events from Microsoft. I am sure im not the only one who doesn't use any Microsoft services. Maybe allow for Google calendar events as well. It would also be useful to not have to use either service and still have events that are local to the device.
