Can the US government do things right?

Props to the US Department of state. They tell you it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get a passport renewal. I submitted my renewal application on Christmas Eve; got an email that it was in the mail on New Year’s Eve. One week!!! What else can we learn to do right?
