I don't understand these carnist logics
When carnists say that humans can kill animals or use them for dairy because we’re 'more intelligent,' what kind of logic is that? Would they be okay if someone like Einstein—or any intelligent scientist today—decided to kill or milk them? By that reasoning, should adults always eat their babies because we’re more intelligent?
When carnists argue that animals don’t have emotions, why don’t they apply the same logic to eating a human who is fully paralyzed or in coma?
When carnists say they couldn’t eat someone like themselves, are they aware that humans share 60% of their DNA with chickens, 80% with cows, and 90% with pigs?
Animals are not useful for us just eat them. Do they k*ll their parents when they get old and are no more useful for the society? What about their pets? Why does a carnist give special treatment to their pet fishes?
Why have they completely disregarded 'level of consciousness', "higher values" and 'sentience' in the discussion?
I think carnists have forgotten that humans are just nature’s latest experiment. Our ego tells us we’re superior, but in reality, we’re not that different. If we continue misbehaving, we might just get kicked out. I think humans can do better than just be "consumers".
