Is the Plains actually the easiest Biome?
I am in a solo no-mods run (including no world mods) and have recently gotten to the Plains.
Obv the first foray was rough; Fulings are no joke in groups, and Lox are deceptively fast! But with the Harnesk chest piece, the deathsquitos are trivial, and once you have a single sample of barley and Flax, you're 90% done with the Plains. The only thing left are tarpits, but after the Swamp you're well equipped to deal with the tarblobs.
I must be missing something. In the Black Forest, you have to go out to mine copper and cart it back to your base. In the Swamp, you have to find and clear the sunken crypts. And the mountain is the worst yet, trying to hoof back to your base with a rickety cart of silver while drakes, wolves and golems threaten you. But thusfar in the plains, I've had to clear a mere four Fuling villages to find the Barley and Flax i need to advance. At this point I'm just fortifying my farm.
