NEXUS interview as a trans person?

I got conditional approval last month and scheduled my interview for feb 3rd(my birthday) in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. My passport and DL both say F, problem is I'm a trans woman. Obviously I might be denied a nexus card but what I'm worried about is them potentially confiscating my passport. Is that a possibility? Should I be worried?

EDIT: My birth certificate says 'M' on it
