Can't make it look "nice"

Hello people just trying to see if there's any suggestions as to why I can't make these folds or corners look "nice" the 5th picture is the best I could do on one corner but I am finding myself reworking the other corners.

I used 1"foam and Dacron and I have tapered it down on these specific edges. I can't find any help on YouTube. Thank you I'm advance
