Honest Opinion about DIY Turntable Cabinet

Hello! Wifey and I haven't really found any TT cabinets that are toddler- and cat-resistant, so I sketched something up in CAD that should work.

I'm worried about speaker vibration affecting the TT and the distance between speakers (currently in CAD it measures just under 4').

Would like any suggestions / opinions!

Turntable: Fluance RT85

AVR: Yamaha A-S501SL

Speakers: Yamaha NS-333 (found for $10 at garage sale)
