Can my turntable damage LPs because it have plate maded for EPs?

Hi, i dont have much money and only turntable that i have is Tesla NZC 710 with new stylus but it have small plate for EPs but it can play LPs too but how i see same plate have Crossley too so i was worried if it can significantly damage my LPs because it have small plate. Thank for every comment.
