Suggestion for Dragon Princes
If you don't know who or what the Dragon Princes are, they are that guy. They are so arrogant that they make other Asur look as humble as a Bretonnian monk who took a vow of humility. But unlike most of their brethren, this is not false arrogance, no Dragon Princes are the best and they know it. They're not some uppity nobles who bought all the best gear because it looks flashy, they're the guys who won't even dip their banners for the Phoenix King, but will identify the hardest, toughest section of an enemy host and charge right into it, hell, they'll probably win. They don't take orders, just mere suggestions, but they are guaranteed to show results. This is my favourite quote about them,
"Only in the thick of battle does a Dragon Prince's true character emerge. Hauteur gives way to determination; arrogance to courage. Gone is the aloof noble who disdains the company of all save his own kin. In his place rides a warrior who would die without hesitation if his sacrifice would save but one of Ulthuan's people."
Now lore dump over, to make Dragon Princes true to lore they should be unbreakable, done post over... jk that'd be ridiculous and op. However I still want that arrogance to be translated somehow in a way that doesn't break the balance. A Dragon Prince would rather spit on an actual dragon, than run from the enemy in view of other "lesser" Asur. My suggestion would be to give them an attribute that activates only when friendly units are routing, something like, immunity to psychology, +8 leadership, +8 melee attack and +8 melee defence (numbers are random). Since they have an already higher leadership than other Asur forces this would be likely to fire if things are not going well. It could be justified as, one, them seeing other Asur running while they still fight as a justification of their superiority, and two, the knowledge that they are the only thing between whatever foul host they are facing, and Ulthuan.
Also they should be given contempt, in their eyes other Asur running would be expected and I doubt they'd feel concerned that they are
