Some doubts about the Realm of Chaos campaign.

Hey guys! I’ve been playing the Realm of Chaos campaign as Zhao Ming, since this is my first Total War game and Grand Cathay was the recommended starting faction after finishing the prologue.

I have a feeling that my campaign is taking too long. I’m currently at turn 130+ and missed to catch the souls for 3 times. It’s a bit frustrating that if you don’t enter the Chaos Rift ASAP, you may miss the chance. I currently have the Slaneesh Soul (got at “rifts turn 2”) and was able to get a buff at that realm the first time I’ve entered it (when I’ve realized that I was going to lose the race to Kislev).

Currently, Zhao Ming is standing by at the forge of chaos, as there was a prompt indicating that a faction was about to finish the campaign.. The Rifts are long gone and he js just sitting there. Is it safe to move him from there?

Also, if I meet the requirement to the Domination objective, will I finish the campaign? Or the souls are the only victory factor for this type of campaign?

I fear that I’ve fallen way behind the other factions and may end this very long campaign without completing its objectives… Also, I made the mistake of building those garrisons that keeps the rifts alway from the province.. I’m undoing it right now.
