Is it worth to start this game?

I played this game on PS5 and enjoyed but than POE2 happend. Now I bought steam deck and read that this game run well on SD so I want to try again...probably from scratch beacuse i dont know how connect to my ps5 account. But from what I see on the internet this game is half dead. Is it true or its still worth to begin? I plan to play most likely just pve
