Had the Panther II and Tiger II swapped places, would the Panther II have suffered from the same mechanical unreliability problems as the Tiger II, since it used the same (or similar) suspension?
Essentially in this scenario 1 Tiger II hull is made, with no turret. Meanwhile for every 1 Tiger II made in real life it would instead be a Panther II.
I am mainly just curious if the suspension designed for the 70 ton Tiger II, would do better on the 47 ton Panther II, and if it would, by how much would it?
