Wired vs EU Wireless (Worcester EMS)
I have a Nest thermostat that has given up the ghost. Looking around for a replacement I see that the right version Tado can modulate my boiler’s (Worcester Greenstar 38CDI) flow temp. Big selling point for me and always irked me that the Nest couldn’t do that.
My question is which version to go for ease of the installation when switching over from the old wireless Nest? I can get the wired version for £100 or EU Wireless for £200.
The Nest is currently powered by a 2 meter long usb cable into a plug socket and talks to a white hub that is attached the boiler. The boiler itself is about 2 meters away from where the thermostat is sited in the hallway.
Any advice on the best version for my circumstances?
