How does us donating SWC help real causes

I have seen multiple donation campaigns for real world causes on the Sweatcoin app and have even donated some. Causes such as disaster relief in Lebanon, and I just recently noticed that you can donate to feed hungry children in Afghanistan. I was wondering, how exactly are our donated SWC going to help benefit? Are they being sold to a company that provides food or something? Just generally curious. I would probably donate more if there were more details as well.
