Any recommendations for translated fiction from Africa or South America?

Hi! I’m part of a book club that reads all translated literature (all fiction). Most of our books so far have been by Asian or European authors, and I want to suggest some books that can expand outside of those two continents.

Examples of books that we’ve read so far are The Door by Magda Szabo, Heaven by Mieko Kawakami, The Vegetarian by Hang Kang, and I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman.

The only two South American authors I’m really aware of are Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Clarice Lispector, and the African novels I’ve read so far were all originally published in Enlish. So any recommendations or suggestions would help!
