Sonos Home cinema setup

Need advice. I'm going for a pretty basic home cinema setup a Sonos beam 2 + 2xsymfonisk speakers (rear). Bearing in mind I've don't have any experience with this kind of stuff what else do I need to have in place for Dolby Atmos experience? Does the TV need to support Dolby Atmos? What kind of cheap media player can I use to play Dolby Atmos supported movies on my hard drive? If I had a media player would that mean the TV doesn't have to support Dolby Atmos? Please let me know. Thanks.
