Small Business Owners in India: Why Stick to Instagram/Reddit?
Hey fellow Redditors!
I’ve been scrolling through Reddit and Instagram lately, and I’m honestly blown away by the sheer creativity and talent of small business owners. From handmade jewelry to custom art, organic skincare, and unique home decor—there’s so much amazing stuff out there!
But here’s something I’ve been wondering: Why don’t more of you have your own websites?
I get it—Instagram and Reddit are great platforms to showcase your work and connect with customers. But wouldn’t it be even better to have a dedicated website where people can browse your products, place orders, and even request customizations? It could make managing leads, orders, and customer inquiries so much easier!
I’m genuinely curious to hear from small business owners:
- What’s stopping you from setting up a website?
- Is it the cost, technical know-how, or just sticking to what works?
- For those who do have websites, how has it impacted your business?
And for the buyers out there: Would you prefer shopping from a website over Instagram/Reddit DMs?
Let’s discuss! Maybe we can share tips, resources, or even recommendations for affordable website builders (like Shopify, Wix, or WordPress) that could help small businesses take the next step.
P.S. If you’re a small business owner, drop your Instagram/Reddit handle or website link below—I’d love to check out your work!
Let’s help each other grow! 🚀
