Carrie with a Bob

On my latest rewatch, it occurs to me that it’s probably not the bob that is the issue. It’s the makeup.

For some reason they were doing way too much. Smokey eye, lots of blush, and a heavy lip. For a woman over 35, that’s a lot. Any woman.

I wonder how it would have felt if it had been a more understated look, or even if they had just picked one of those features to go heavy on.

I’m a big believer in the pick one to highlight theory of makeup if you aren’t getting professional lighting to follow you around everywhere.

What do you all think? The hair itself really could be cute, IMO.
