Need help on resident evil 0

I’ve played most re games. Re2r, re3r, re4r, re5, re7, re8

Recently started 0 and Icl I’m not really enjoying. I’m about 1 hour and 30 mins in going by a walkthrough on YouTube.

This game is so hard. As someone not familiar with the older style games the tank controls and ink cartons are so hard to get used to. And my word the lack of healing items is crazy. Billy and Rebecca have been on red zone for probably an hour which has resulted in me wasting an ink carton after obtaining every key item. I’ve just done the clock puzzle and am trying to get the film footage from one of the rooms and there’s about 5 zombies in there with billy only having 10 bullets. I honestly don’t know what to do because I don’t want to be a wuss and quit but I honestly don’t know how to continue. It’s so hard and honestly I think it’s impossible to continue because lack of amo and health.

Do any of you have any tips or guides for me because I’m really not enjoying this game but I really want to complete all RE games and get platinums in all of them
