I find it easier to talk to older men

Talking to girls my age can sometimes feel like a contest of whose brain is more rotting. Older dudes have so many cool experiences and a lot of wisdom. I like listening to their little stories especially when they talk about their youth. I’m doing an internship and my boss is always talking about how things were back in the 90s and I get a little jealous because things seemed better back then ( socially speaking ). I’ve had many allegations and accusations of having the tism and sometimes even being aspie. But most times when I am interacting with a girl my own age I want to blow my brains out. They will either be completely silent or they will be snarky and engage in bully like behavior if you do something that is out of the norm. I’m a bit on the eccentric side and im also a masc lesbian so I stick out like a sore thumb everytime im in a networking event and im surrounding by those hyper feminine pantsuit and dress wearing girlies. But then i go talk to a dude and we quickly bond, even if we’re not talking much. Silence can be a good thing with men. Many women treat silence as a sinful act.
