Wheel fitting question

Hey everyone, as I started into the hobby this year with a Yikong TB7, I wanted to give it some new shoes to help with better air control and cornering stability.

I decided on some 4S backflips as they are slighty larger and a good few mil wider and often praised on youtube. When trying to fit them I encountered two problems:

  1. The wheel opening holes are much wider than my stock wheels, the stock nut can't even hold it
  2. On the front, they catch on the steering rods on full turn in because of the width

To help with both, I discovered people fit hub extenders. To my frustration, i found that the TB7 has no pin holes to mount these extenders (see picture).

So, am I doomed and restricted to the odd stock tire sized wheels or is there a way to fix this? If anyone could help point me in the right direction I'd be really thankful.
