Honest Opinions of Sicario (after a thorough listen of the album multiple times)

So it's going to be 3 days today, I have listened to the album multiple times and sure enough I was right about the album growing a bit. Before this, I had said the album was 6/10 with the first five being good and bottom five being bad.

After listening to it quite a few times, I'm willing to say that the album's first 5 songs are VERY good. Love Carti and Bars is a very catchy song. Feel my love is pretty good but not Shubh's best romantic song. Buckle up is also a very good song. Routine is my fav song of the album purely based on how it was composed, the lyrics of Routine were okay okay, but the composition made it very catchy.

Now for the bottom 5, I dislike Ruger and In love, not my cup of tea. I don't like the flows, or anything from those songs. In love was a bad recycled version of One Love. Now for Aura, that grew on me a lot. It's not top 5 of the album, but a better song. Upcoming song is Top G, which I found to be mid before but now it's a lil better than mid. Reckless is a crazy song, the rap was really nice.

Final Verdict:
I always know that it takes about 4 to 5 listens before I like any Shubh song. That's just how it is and the same happened with this album. People were saying that he re uses flows and recycles the same songs, nothing feels different and all. I agreed with that before this album. In this album, Shubh changed up and experimented tbh, respect to him for that. If I was an artist, I would be anxious about moving out of my comfort zone especially when I already have the ingredients of success.

The album, after a thorough listen is 7/10, on a very good day, it'll be 7.5/10. Ultimately it's not Shubh's best, but I'm glad he experimented with his sound and this new version of Shubh is welcome to make more music and see where it goes.
