What is up with giant "fancy rich" houses not having a tv?

I noticed while playing that often a big large rich fancy house does not have a tv. The smaller "poorer" or average houses/homes have them...

It does not make sense. The poorer homes should not have tvs and the rich houses should have like 2-3 haha
