Advid Gmail/Google user getting worried
I use Google for everything. Email, Photos, Drive, Keep Notes are what I would consider my most important. I pay for Google One and share it amongst my husband, children and my secondary email address that I use for my small business.
My biggest fear is losing my Google Account. I would lose all my photos and all my files for the last 20+ years. So I am trying to follow along on how to stay safe and secure but am incredibly overwhelmed.
First I want to get a new primary email address because my current one is 20 years old. It seems like a lot of work but probably the safest option. But should I create a different one for different websites/apps? Just the big ones - Facebook and my bank or credit card companies. Or is that not necessary?
I was then thinking how can I save my Google Photos and Google Drive on another account in case I lose access to my primary/original. They are huge and too big to just save on free accounts as opposed to my 2Tb Google One.
Any advise on how to protect myself more? I have read so many articles but they have such technical talk that I cannot follow it.
