How to heal infected(?) belly button piercing

Hi all, for reference - I had this pierced October 31 (Halloween!) so about three weeks old. It’s titanium. this week it’s been a little red and irritated. A little yellow almost green pus. My piercer instructed me to do salt soaks and clean with saline solution and qtip. It doesn’t feel like it’s rejected, but I could be wrong. The placement is the same, but I’m concerned with how red it is and the discharge. Any advice on how to heal this or if it looks rejected?
