Name for Philly’s WNBA team
Now that Philly has officially bid for a WNBA team, what do you think its name should be? My ideas include:
- Philadelphia Dawn (after local basketball legend Dawn Staley)
- Philadelphia Freedom (after the song and the old women’s tennis team of the same name)
- Philadelphia 87s (a play on 76ers, the year that PA became a state)
