As someone trying to get into PC gaming, these Nvidia launches are really off putting.

I’ve been console gaming for 3 console generations now and I don’t think the Xbox is worth owning anymore so I’ve decided to try and build a pc. Unfortunately trying to get a hold of 3080 is insane right now considering all the scalpers. I can wait until it’s back in stock, but is this a common occurrence with every new card?
