Who is actually going to buy a 5090?
Forget 5070 being a 4090, double performance and all that marketing jazz. People who have brains knew that was a huge joke already.
With all the talk about fake frames and all that aside, there are inevitably people that will buy a 5090, and probably, most likely, people who already have a 4090....
But why? Simply to have the best card, the most vram in a 'consumer' gpu, or even simpler, because you want to build the biggest, fastest pc (again)?
Honestly, I may be in this category... and my reason is that I want to run 3 4k monitors at 120hz or more. Do I need it? no, but the 5090 will probably be the last gpu upgrade for a few years for me anyway since i'm buying a house around the end of the year. And no... I don't want a slower amd card, dp 2.1 won't do much without 'moar powah'.
I commend those of you sticking with 6600XT's and 1080ti's for years on end because you only play 1080p and games like cs2 and don't care about the rest. I sometimes play 1440, just because more frames is fun to play with.
The pricing will only get worse... and worse... ASUS already has this 'astral' aio card that will be 3000$ most likely... I don't even think it'll fit in my case either. Even the air cooled one will likely be 2200-2500$ unless that's the price of the 'TUF' cards...if they even have those?
So lets hear it, why are you buying a 5090?
Edit: i forgot the #1 rule on this reddit, your post needs a meme to receive upvotes....)
