Turning off XMP before upgrading
Hello, this Christmas I was given by my father a kit of 2 x 32gb 3600 Ram (DDR4), and I've been wondering if I should boot my pc up one final time with the current ram to turn XMP off.
I'm also wondering whether or not I could just remove the current ram, install the new ram and remove the CMOS battery for a couple minutes, as I've only ever really configured XMP in the BIOS.
Thanks.
