SSF marauder melee build?

Hello,

PoE2 got me into PoE1, and I am hooked! Witch and ranger are a lot of fun, and I know how to build those, but I'd like to try a melee build.

Specifically, I want to (SSF) go for a one-hand + shield marauder, is that viable? I was thinking molten strike, shield charge or boneshatter maybe?

Would someone maybe have a guide to follow?
