Apple Pay bright option

Hi I am considering buying a MacBook for school as my classes are 100% online and I want to be well prepared for it. Now I have a ten year old Sony laptop that’s working ok but won’t be reliable if I use it every day for studies. My iPad won’t be enough to perform all that’s required for studies and assignments either. So my question is, I want to get MacBook on education pricing but want to be able to use pay bright plan to pay monthly instead of pay all at once. I cannot really find the details on pay bright option though. Anyone experienced or familiar with this option? Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
