Scammed and disappointed with FB and Kiwibank

Kia ora NZ, I'm feeling a lil disheartened by Kiwibank. I would like your advice bc I feel I need to do something. This is a long one.

At the beginning of the year (January) I was scammed through FB. These scammers hacked my friends FB profile.

My friend was moving house and I had a beyond busy lifestyle so we didn't see each other for 6weeks or so.

Anyway during those weeks the scammers aligned her moving house with her FB page. They messaged me via messenger which is how I normally communicate with my friends.

Next thing I know I'm congratulating her and she gets me into this trading crypto. This happened for two weeks and then I told her are you scamming me? I started asking questions.

Her sister came for a visit and I told her sister about the crypto rubbish. Thats when I found out about the hackers.

FB did not shut the page down. My friend had made complaints reported everything and still the page is running even now.

As advised I made complaints to FB who then sent me a msg saying there was nothing wrong with that page and didn't see an issue.

Embarrassed as fuck I went to Kiwibank to report the scamming and loss of money.

Kiwibank never got back to me. I visited the bank, was given a FRAUD CASE phone number, called the number and the contact person said I needed to be more patient and wait.

Three months later I called the number again and I was passed from person to person who could not help me with my inquiry. FRAUD team obviously did not wanted to deal with me.

I went to the bank again and told them of my ordeal with the Fraud contact centre. It's now October. The teller was shocked and sent an email immediately to their FRAUD team. WHY DIDNT THEY DO THIS THE FIRST, SECOND, AND THIRD TIME I ASKED FOR HELP???

Two weeks later I get an email saying bc you made those transactions we will not pay the amount you have lost, here's $250.00. We apologise for the wait. WTF!!!

Over $2000.00 down the drain, I still feel stupid, I'm out of pocket, the bank and fb don't give a shit!!!

Advice anyone?
