Need some people’s 2 cents.
Hi everyone. I need help with making a decision and need to know if what I’m thinking is just plain stupid and just my young 20 year old brain not thinking far enough if what I’m thinking is viable.
Me (20) and my wife (21) currently live in Indiana. We are getting kicked out by my wife’s parents because they’re selling their current house and getting another house that won’t have enough room for my wife and I, her parents, and her brothers and two sisters.
Both my wife and I are upset but we’re not going to cry over it. We’ve looked into apartments within Indiana. Majority of them cost $1000+ just for a one bedroom and one bathroom. Plus the landlords require about a 650 credit score which we don’t have at the moment.
We looked into Mississippi and saw how the prices of rent is significantly more cheaper than Indiana. We’re considering on just packing and leaving to MS but I would like to get everyone’s 2 cents on this. While we are desperate, we’re trying our best to avoid any mistakes that might harm us in any sort of way. (Please let me know if what we’re doing is dumb. We’re not going to get upset over constructive criticism).
Would we still face the same credit issue like we are currently in Indiana where we need 650 in order for our application to be accepted?
What’s the pay like? Would it be much different than Indiana’s?
Any places within Mississippi that is recommended if what we’re thinking is viable
Are we just being dumb young adults and not thinking far enough?
