are pre-med frats worth it?

i know a lot of people do it, but based on the premed culture at my school, i feel like i wouldn't particularly enjoy it. however, if its a vital part of my app and something i should def consider, i don't want to miss out on this opportunity bc of preconceived notions

there aren't clubs or orgs for pre-mdphd students, so i'm just trying to figure out what would be best
