Battles - Over one year later

So I got curious, and looked up discussions around this card type, and found nobody talking about it for over a year.

So my question is: after having over a year to experiment with this card type, what're your thoughts on Battles (regardless of your preferred format, though it'd be interesting to know which ones y'all play)?
