Help with DMX/MIDI

Hey y’all! I’m in a small but ambitious band and we have a decent little light setup. Right now I’m using 2 chauvet COLORband PIXM USB motorized light bars and 1 Chauvet SlimPar Q12 BT RGBA controlled with an Obey 40 D-Fi which is then controlled by the MIDI controller on my guitar pedalboard. So I’m controlling the lights and my guitar effects at the same time, It’s pretty fun (when it works 😂)!

My question is I’m trying to find a programming solution that is more efficient than using the Obey 40 to truly use all the features the lights have to offer but also be able the use MIDI commands from my pedalboard’s midi controller. The Obey 40 works fine but programming is so clunky and time consuming and the results while cool, don’t really use the motorized light bars to their full potential.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Keep in mind our budget is pretty limited but we can make some things work.
