Website Copying

Hi everyone, I’m a web designer. One of my clients basically wants to copy another website. At first it seemed like they just wanted their website inspired by the other which is completely fine. However, it’s gotten to the point where my client is asking for small details to be changed to mimic the other website. It seems like they want me to copy the website exactly which I think is problematic and I’m not even sure of any legal issues my job and/or my client could face.. I definitely don’t want to copy another website either. Do you guys have any advice?
