i don't feel like i am progressing anymore

i have been programming since 2022 but i feel like i am just not progressing anymore. every project i start it just gets too hard or i spend hours fixing one problem and then give up. i keep taking too much time setting up makefiles/doing boilerplate and never actually getting deep into the development of something. what should i do?
