HP Pavilion 17t-cd000 Unresponsive

My HP laptop has a completely blank unlight screen while the power button light is on as well as the light near the charging port. I have held the power button down for 60 seconds and nothing happens. The laptop does not have a removable battery and I have unplugged it from the power source.

I have been using the laptop regularly the past few weeks, mostly streaming games from my desktop. Running up to the issue mentioned, I have been using it for multiple hours when I set the laptop aside to do some other things. I had closed out of all the programs, locked the computer and closed the lid.

When I came back to use the laptop, I opened the lid and hit the power button. The screen became backlight but nothing happened. I attempted a hard reboot and held the power button which seemed to work as all the lights went off. I let the laptop sit for 30 seconds or so before hitting the power button again. That is when the power button light stayed on but nothing happened. Now, I am not able to even hard reset.

My last thought is to leave the laptop unplugged and see if it will drain completely and then plug in and try again. Any thoughts?

The laptop is not even 5 years old.

EDIT: Of course, I end up fixing it after posting, but I am going to leave this up should anyone in the future have the same issue. I had to remove the battery and let it sit for 60 seconds. Put the battery back in and it was good to go. This may have seemed like an obvious first thing to try, but this laptop does not have an easy to remove battery. It required remove the back plate which this youtube video helped with: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKrkVVPJkNU
