Dining Experiences Lately

It seems that every restaurant, no matter where it is, has massively worsened in terms of the Customer Service experience- food comes out in about 2 minutes (meaning it was absolutely not cooked to order) which might be nice for some, but I go out to eat not just for the food itself. I would like to actually have a moment to enjoy the ambiance, receive my drink before I get my food (a lot of the time these days they don't even care if you get your appetizer after your main dish), and relax.

But no. These places throw the food at you and expect you to leave ASAP. I know that the restaurant business is tough, but the waiters and experience lately have driven this point home. Experience is not even a consideration now, it seems. Restaurants want you to eat, drink, and leave in under 60 minutes. Experience be damned. Not super worth the prices we pay for it nowadays.

To be fair, this is nationwide. I just notice it even more pronounced around JC lately.
