If you were to write a classic indiana jones adventure, what would it be about?
I'll go first
If there were to be another film or game like the great circle, I'd be interested to see Indy look for something fantastical but still in line with the type of artifacts seen in the original trilogy. So I'd be interested to see Indy looking for the original stones of the ten commandments Moses recieved from God.
But Moses destroyed the inscribed stones, you say!
Well, what if the remains of the commandments were sucked back up into heaven by God (referencing the end of Raiders where the nazis are sucked up into the sky), put back together by God, and then hidden somewhere on Mount Sinai? Perhaps they were hidden on Mount Sinai by God so that nobody could alter its commands. These commands are what society upholds in present day, and legend has it that whoever finds the tablets might be able to alter the commandments to fit their desires for humanity and change the present morals of society? Sounds like a powerful relic that Hitler's occult operations would be after! DUN DUN DUNNNNNN...
Had an idea about who the villain of the story looking for it could be too:
Say this takes place after Voss' death in the great circle. Since Voss died, the nazis needed a new person to lead Hitler's occult research program.
Perhaps the new leader is insecure, not wanting to be seen as a weak leader when compared to Voss' legacy so they will go above and beyond for fortune and glory. Perhaps they're a young adult and very naïve as to what powers they are messing with. This could make a good contrast to Indy's character since in Temple of Doom, we see younger Indy was more selfish in his search for "fortune and glory" instead of doing it to stop evil doers like he does for the rest of his adventures. Maybe Indy would try to relate to the young adult villain from experience and try to reason with him?
Anyway Lmk what you think and what your ideas for a new movie would be!
