Severely dislocated my elbow—will I be able to snowboard again after I recover?
I severely dislocated my left elbow (I’m right-hand dominant thankfully) in a snowboarding accident on Christmas day in the icecoast. I went to the ER, and the doctor completed the reduction in about 10–20 minutes only. I wore a splint for 2.5 weeks, as recommended by the ortho, before finally taking it off. However, I still don’t have full range of motion in my arm, and there’s pain with certain movements. I’m still in the recovery process, but I’m wondering—what are the chances I’ll be able to snowboard again after this? I have a Colorado trip coming up on March 🙃🥲
