Why do so many businesses completely ignore SEO? It’s their biggest missed opportunity.
I run a digital growth agency that specializes in SEO, and one thing I see over and over again is how businesses (especially small and medium-sized ones) completely ignore SEO or treat it like an afterthought.
Most business owners value paid ads over organic traffic, believing that SEO is either:
❌ "Too slow"
❌ "Too complicated"
❌ "Not worth the effort"
And yet, SEO is often one of the highest ROI marketing channels, especially for businesses that can’t afford to keep pumping money into ads forever. I’ve seen companies triple their traffic with just solid SEO foundations (site structure, content, and links) and lower their customer acquisition costs dramatically.
But somehow, it still doesn’t get the attention it deserves.
I’m curious, if you run a business, how do you see SEO? Do you invest in it, or is it something that just sits on the back burner?
It’s something we focus on daily at Nordiseo, helping businesses strengthen their online presence and drive real growth. Would love to hear your thoughts!
