Wondering if I should switch to Sony
Hello everyone, semi-professional photographer using Fuji here.
I've been using an X-H2S since December 2023, I mainly shoot parties/events where people move pretty fast, except for cake photos or with family members/friends.
In the past months (but almost since having it), I've always fought a bit with the AF performance. With moving subjects, but sometimes even static ones, it can happen that the AF box is green, but when reviewing the pics on PC I find that they are very very slightly out of focus.
I've been considering switching to a Sony a7IV for FF + better AF but I keep thinking if what I see is true or if I am just pixel peeping and finding errors. Mostly because switching to Sony would be a pretty big investment, mostly because of the color science (always loved fuju colors) and, on the long term, the cost of FF Glass, and I don't want to risk to spend a lot for what is just a fixation of mine.
Here's a pic from my most recent shooting with a crop to highlight what I think is out of focus.
So, am I just pixel peeping? Is that really out of focus or is it because of low MP/something else?
