Looking for an upgrade

Hi, I have using xm1 for over 2 years now and I used it mostly for photography but I'm looking forward to seeing myself use my camera to do some videography stuff. And i have come to a conclusion that i should've get an upgrade for my camera, is there any advice of what camera body should i buy? I'm kinda looking for budget-ish camera probably around 250-500$, thank u so much! and weight isn't a problem at all.
