What makes MontBlanc Pens so Special?

Before Christmas I went into a MontBlanc store by me, first time. Pen people often talk about this brand. I wrote with ne of their pens, maybe a 149, not sure. Did it write nice, yes.

What attracts one to a pen is different for each of us. To me, many fountain pens look like art to me. I found Montblac pens to be very plain, even the really expensive ones.

Why do so many people like this brand? Fell in love with pens from S.T. Dupont. When they went on sale I would buy one. I know have five beautiful pens from them and I never get tired of looking at them.

Writing with one of these pens is a joy, they are so smooth. Also have three Auroras that are pretty and are wonderful to write with. Never thought I would ever spend $100 for a pen so it still is shocking I paid what I did for these pens. However, don’t regret buying them.

A Montblac pen is so unattractive and masculine too me. Also don’t think they write as nice as those two brands.

What am I missing that makes them so popular?
