Has there been any meaningful pushback on the FlA's 'no swearing' rule?
I'm curious if anyone knows whether there's been any pushback (effective or not) on the 'no swearing' rule.
The rule just seems so insane. These guys are driving at 200 mph... against other elite drivers also doing 200 mph. The stakes are high and so is the pressure. Humans will swear in those circumstances!
I'm a bit of an F1 newbie so I don't know where to get good info on things like this, so I thought I'd ask here.
I'm also curious what you all think of the rule. Do you agree/disagree with it? If you disagree, do you see it lasting? I feel like l'd enjoy F1 a tiny bit less if I knew the drivers had effectively been gagged (because I also think they'd enjoy it less themselves).
