Who are some past games wonderkids that didn't quite hit the mark IRL?

I am new to FM24 and I know the new wonderkids, like Ouédraogo, Lorran, Riad, Dedić, Dorgu or Mora, that only time will tell if they're as good.

I didn't play the earlier versions, so who are some players who did you get great mileage out of, but didn't end up great? Where are they now?

EDIT: they sure are mid-to-failed wonderkids because I've never heard of 90% of them
